Ready to go

Well, everything’s packed.  Everything except the food in the fridge that will go in my backpack in the morning.
My neighbor came down to see my cat procedure.  She delivered my Girl Scout cookies.

This morning I found this on my desk.  The doctor bought some “new” film cassettes a while back and they finally came in. He left them here over the weekend.
But, the most exciting thing about this package is the fact that each cassette–and there are fifteen–has been lovingly encased in its own separate zip-top bag!  [...]

Last night I made a few of these shoe bags.  Very Martha, yes?  
I also packed my bag.  Of course, it’s subject to revision.   I straightened the garage/porch yesterday, and did some laundry.

My coffee eludes me

I can’t drink my coffee because I went to the dentist this morning and my lip is too numb.  I can’t figure out how to get it in my mouth without pouring it down my chin.

The sweater is finished!  I am so pleased with myself that I actually finished a “garment.”  I am even more pleased that it fits.  The color in real life is really a deep maroonish red–not the garish fuschia that I can’t seem to fix in the picture.
